Summer Incentive

This summer's vacation promises to be fun, amazing, different, and interesting.

We will be driving our big ole bus to Denver, spending the night in a hotel

and in the morning, we will be doing something we have not done for YEARS.

We will be climbing aboard an airplaine.

All 10 of us

in matching shirts.

We will have 2 flights and end up in Boston, Mass.

And from there we will drive 3 hours to Vermont.

Whew. I am tired just thinkin about it.

I am terribly excited at the thought of one hard travel day on the way East

as opposed to 4 or 5 hard days.

I am afraid the kids will get bored and misbehave on the plane.

The excitement began as we put price stickers, then started doing chores. I am hoping this will help the younger ones to experience "saving up for what you want most". I am also wondering if the fact that they have to put their treasures into their trip backpack is going to cause the excitement to wear off too quickly.

I guess there is only one way to find out!
